Guys today I’m writing about easy facebook url to user and a page. I hope you like it.

Traditionally Facebook URL for user and page is quite long, obviously hard to remember. Even if some try to remember it, I would say that’s useless. It’s something like www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=6210834567 for a user and www.facebook.com/pages/Lalitpur-Nepal/Xplore-International/40404057439 for a page.

This traditional url can be easily converted into a short url. For example easy url to my profile is facebook.com/suran and facebook.com/xploreinternational is for my page entitled Xplore International. I have seen so many people and page owner who want to make their url easily remembered but may not have idea how to do that. Followings are the steps to fix this little problem.

• Sign into Facebook.com
• Go to www.Facebook.com/Username
• It will give you the option to set a username for your personal profile.
• Right below the place to set a username for a personal profile, you can find another option to set username to your page. Set your desired link, but this is just for a page owner or administrator. If you are administrators for multiple pages, you can drop down to choose your page.
• Then you will be able to input the name you want for the page in a blank field.

The given steps easily work to set an easy url for your profile and page. But there are some more things to remember such as.

• If someone else have already taken the url you desired, you have to pick some another unique name. This is pretty obvious as same link cannot be used for multiple users and pages.
• Before you set a url cross check your spelling very well, cause once you have assigned one url you won’t have an option to correct it.
• So far Facebook Url is only available to profile and page, therefore do not waste your time in searching easy url to group and event.
• All Pages are eligible to claim usernames if they have more than 25 fans.

It’s always better to use good services, so use easy url on Facebook too. It’s nice and easy way to reach your friends and fans. I would say it’s also an option to update yourself from traditional url. Friends don’t be so in 2010, it’s time to upgrade.
